Please follow these instructions to subscribe to the calendar in Outlook on Windows:
- Copy the calendar link.
- Switch to the calendar view in Outlook.
- Right click My calendars (or Other calendars), select Add calendar, select From Internet.
- In the dialogue that pops up, paste the calendar link.
- Approve the subscription.
The calendar is now available in Outlook. Check the checkbox besides the new calendar to view it.

Springtime in the Orangery
Visit the the early 19th century Orangery in the Botanical garden and see plants from the Mediterranean, Australia, South America and other warm places. When springtime sunrays reach citruses, apricots and cacti, they blossom. Extended opening hours in the Orangery during two weekends in March.

Help us to tidy up Carl Linnaeus' meadows efter the winter. We clear the meadows from branches, rake them, light fires and learn more about 18th century farming. There are hot dogs and soft drinks for all helpers. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to experience Swedish spring in a vibrant historical environment!

Meet spring in the Linnaean Gardens of Uppsala. Enjoy the seasonal flowers, explore Carl Linnaeus' homes in town and in the country and have a "fika" or lunch in the garden cafés.

Family day at Linnaeus' Hammarby. Learn about beehives and make homes for pollinating insects.
Many of the plants that are considered Linnaean relicts and part of the genetic material he used for his research blossom at this time of year at Linnaeus' Hammarby. See this year's art exhibition, and join a guided tour of the manor house in English at 12.30. -

A Linnaean Garden Party 2020
Time travel to the 18th century, hear the rustle of silk skirts, see silver shoe buckles glisten, and sample artisan foods. Meet scientists, experiment, and learn more about Linnaean science. Guided tour in English at 11.30 and 14.30.

Victoria in blossom
An opportunity to see the flower of the giant water lily, Victoria amazonica, and the pithaya in blossom. They open out at dusk, but not every night. Updates (in Swedish) on Facebook.

Country Fair at Hammarby
Family day at Linnaeus' Hammarby. You can buy sheepskins, cheese, bread, vegetables and honey at the small and genuine fair, where there will also be craft stands and second hand sellers. The children can try on 18th century clothes.

The Culture Night in the Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden provides an ambient setting for moving meditation, Japanese martial arts, classical music, and a traditional fire show. Watch ceremonial archery. Try your hand at origami, learn about kimonos and witness a Japanese tea ceremony in the orangery. Explore the Tropical Greenhouse and hear the frogs sing. If you are lucky, the giant water lily will show you its flower.

Meadow raking in the cultural reserve
Come and volunteer at Linnaeus' Hammarby! It is time to harvest the last vegetables and to prepare the forest meadows for winter by raking them and collecting and burning branches. Work side by side with experts on agrarian history and learn about 18th century farming. All helpers will be rewarded with hot dogs and soft drinks.
