Helen Piper:

Born and raised in Gothenburg, Helen Piper grew up loved telling stories. At an early age, she also caught a travel bug and decided to study abroad. She attended numerous universities, including University of Cambridge and UC Berkeley before returning to her native Sweden and Uppsala University. Her eclectic studies helped her attain degrees in both law and theology. After a detour into law and business, she now works as a book critic, a feature writer, and a political consultant. She is currently working on a collection of humorous stories about the expat life with expected publication in 2021 by Albert Bonniers förlag.

Helen lives in Cupertino with her husband and her three children. She has been waiting for BART extend to the South Bay since 1998, and remains hopeful that it will happen in her life time.
